Esprit Store Opening

Last Wednesday I was invited to the Esprit Opening event in Hamburg. Why? Esprit changed their store-concept and opened a huuuuge store right in the city. The new store appears in a natural inspired interior design. The atmosphere is relaxing, soft colors are dominating and I felt really comfortable right from the beginning. While looking through the designs we had great food and drinks and it was also a pleasure to listen to the lovely singer Oceana. Thanks for this nice event, Esprit!

Ein riesiger Esprit Store mit neuem Store-Konzept war der Grund für ein Opening Event in Hamburgs Innenstadt in der letzten Woche. Vorab konnte ich bei relaxter Atmosphäre, einigen Leckereien und toller Unterhaltung von Sängerin Oceana den neuen Store erkunden. Durch große Fenster, natürliche Farben und tollen Materialien wirkt der Store sehr großzügig, einladend und warm. Ein Wohlfühlort an dem entspannt geshoppt werden kann. Das Ziel “eine urbane, authentische und dennoch entspannte Atmosphäre” zu kreieren, ist hier eindeutig gelungen. Auch von der Mode war ich äußerst positiv überrascht. Die hochwertigen Materialien, natürliche Farben und simple Basicschnitte haben es mir wirklich angetan. Schaut doch auch einfach mal vorbei: Ecke Spitaler Straße / Lange Mühren

recipe: cinnamon bun

Remember when I visited a friend in Stockholm a while ago? Of course I tried Swedens famous “kanelbullars” back then. Now my friend is back home and gave me a great recipe. After 2 failed attempts of baking them, finally the yeast worked out like it should and their turned out ooohh so yummy!

Als ich eine Freundin vor einiger Zeit in Stockholm besucht habe, konnte ich mir natürlich nicht die berühmten schwedischen “kanelbullars” entgehen lassen. Nachdem sie nun zurück in Deutschland ist, habe ich mir glatt ein tolles Rezept geben lassen und diese süße Leckerei nachgebacken!

dough/Teig - ingredients/Zutaten:	filling/Füllung - ingredients/Zutaten:
1. 75g butter/Butter	1. 40g butter/Butter
2. 250ml milk/Milch	2. 1/2 TL cinnamon/Zimt
3. 25g yeast/Hefe	3. 50g sugar/Zucker
4. 100g sugar/Zucker	4. 1 egg/Ei
5. 1/2 Tl salt/Salz	5. coarse sugar/Hagelzucker
6. 500g flour/Mehl

Step 1. Dissolve the yeast in some milk, melt the butter and mix with all the other dough ingredients.

Schritt 1.Löse die Hefe in etwas Milch auf. Dann die Butter schmelzen und mit der Hefemischung und den restlichen Teigzutaten mischen.

Step 2. Knead into dough and cover it with a dishtowel. Let the dough prove(roomtemperature or warmer). After app. 1 hour the dough should be twice its original size.

Schritt 2. Die Masse zu einem schönen Teig kneten. Den Teig mit einem Geschirrhandtuch abdecken und bei Zimmertemperatur (mindestens, die Hefe mag es schließlich warm) ca. 1 Stunde gehen lassen. Der Teig sollte danach ungefähr doppelt so groß sein, wie vorher.

Step 3. Roll out the dough and melt the butter. Cover the dough with the melted butter, cinnamon and sugar equally. Roll up the covered dough and slice it up. Whisk the egg and spread it on each slice. Top them of with some coarse sugar.

Schritt 3. Rolle den Teig aus. Wenn er klebrig ist, wie er es bei mir nach dem Aufgehen war, einfach etwas Mehl dazugeben. Die Butter verflüssigen und die Zucker-Zimt Mischung dazugeben. Die Mischung gleichmäßig auf dem ausgerollten Teig verteilen. Dann den Teig aufrollen und in Scheiben schneiden. Die Stücke müssen jetzt nur noch mit dem verquirlten Ei bestrichen werden. Als Krönung etwas Hagelzucker darauf streuen.

Step 4. Bake for app. 5-10 mins on 250°C. Check regulary on them. You want them rather soft than dry.

Schritt 4. Bei 250°C für ca. 5-10 min backen. Aber unbedingt beobachten, damit die Zimtschnecken nur leicht braun werden und dabei saftig bleiben. Leider kann die Grenze zum “zu fest und trocken werden” schnell überschritten werden.

I mean a jeans is such a basic, comfy and still pretty piece of clothing- it should be perfect! And guess what, there is a place now, where you can put together your own perfect pair and it will even be tailored just for your sizes! And the best part, it doesn’t cost a million, it costs 139€! What I am talking about is “NOMO tailored design jeans”. Its a really jung and innovative concept and I had the chance to check it out just for you. So follow me through the pictures and you will see how to get to your perfect pair of jeans!

Die perfekte Jeans? Endlich muss das kein Traum mehr sein. Ich hatte nämlich die Chance, das einzigartige Konzept von “NOMO tailored design jeans” auszuprobieren. Bei Nomo kannst du dir nämlich deine Jeans, nach deinen eigenen Wünschen und Vorstellungen zusammenstellen. Danach geht’s ab in den Bodyscanner und deine Maße werden bestimmt. So kann dann deine Jeans nur für dich maßgeschneidert werden! Und das Ganze kostet keine Million. Genau genommen bekommst du deine maßgeschneiderte Traumjeans für 139€. Wie der Auswahl- und Scannprozess funktioniert erfährst du einfach, wenn du meinen Bildern folgst:

Step 1. choose your favourite cut out of 5 (super skinny to flare)

Schritt 1. entscheide dich für einen von 5 möglichen Schnitten (von skinny bis Marleneschnitt)

Step 2. choose your favourite color out of 11 shades (greys/blacks and of course blues)

Schritt 2. suche dir eine von 11 Farben für deine Jeans aus (Grautöne, Schwarz, Blautöne)

Step 3. choose effects like “used-look” and washed out

Schritt 3. Möchtest du Effekte? Zum Beispiel einen coolen Used-Look oder einen ausgewaschenen Look

Step 4. choose details like seamcolor, pocketfabric, pocket sizes, logo…

Schritt 4. Entscheide dich für Nahtfarbe, Tascheninnenfutter, Taschengröße, Gürtelbandweite, Logo…

Step 5. The bodyscanner! Whoho! I was actually a little nervous at first, but it really ist simply standing inside this cabin for a minute and your measures are determined

Schritt 5. Ab in den einzigartigen Bodyscanner! Innerhalb von einer Minute werden mit dieser innovativen Technik deine Maße bestimmt

Once your done with steps 1-5 and the bodyscan, you just need to be patient until your perfect jeans is ready for you!

Nachdem du dir deine Jeans zusammengestellt hast und die Maße per Bodyscanner bestimmt wurden, musst du nur noch geduldig warten, bis deine maßgeschneiderte Jeans für dich bereit liegt!

This is what I chose my jeans to look like. When you have all the choices, it’s so hard to decide! The color is a shade of grey and I chose to get a bit of a used look too. For the shape I chose the very skinny version and the pocketfabric is going to be this cute flower print. I can’t wait to see how it will turn out!

Das hier ist meine finale Zusammenstellung. Gar nicht so einfach sich zu entscheiden, das kann ich euch sagen. Wer die Wahl hat, hat die Qual haha. Ich habe mir letztendlich ein tolles grau ausgesucht und noch einen Used-Look dazu bestellt. Als Form habe ich mir eine skinny Version ausgewählt. Das Taschenfutter wird in diesem süßen Blumenstoff sein. Ahhww, ich bin schon super gespannt, wie meine Jeans aussehen und vor allem sitzen wird!

ice ice baby!

I don’t know if I mentioned this before, but I have a weakness for ice-cream - even in winter. I would totally choose ice-cream over any candy in the world if I had to. Since my childhood I always get one scoop lemon ice-cream in a cone with colored sprinkles on top. And yesterday I found these really cute water ice makers from “rice” that reminded me of the ones my mom used to have from tupperware. I always liked “rice”, because of their bright colors and cute details, but now I also know that they care a lot about the working conditions and fair payment of their workers. Anyway, I had to buy these and make some water ice right away. I chose a mix of cherry and banana juice and a multivitamin juice. Such a fast, cheap and yummy treat.

Mein neuester Kauf in Sachen Küchenutensilien: Wassereisformen von “Rice”. Mir waren diese Plastikdinger immer nur von Tupperware in Erinnerung geblieben, die ich als Kind mit Orangensaft gefüllt habe. Dem niedlichen Design von “Rice” konnte ich gestern nicht widerstehen und habe mir auch direkt leckeres Eis gezaubert. Kiba und Multi yummm!

look of the day

Hello Monday or should I say hello you “one more week of my semester break is over and I am sick again”? Anyway, I don’t want to complain. I had a wonderful day at the sea today and just had a lovely dinner with my bf. Oh and did you watch “Intouchables” yet? It’s such a great movie that I can totally recommend!What I can also recommend is to have a look at the Burberry show in London. The music and the designs are simply amazing!

Und wieder ist eine Woche meiner Semesterferien um und ich bin schon wieder erkältet. Aber ich will mich nicht zu sehr beschweren. Ich hatte einen wundervollen Tag und ein mindestens so gutes Abendessen. Einfach ausschlafen, Serien und Filme gucken und lecker Essen. Etwas Schöneres könnte ich mir gerade nicht vorstellen. Achja, wer noch keine Abendbeschäftigung hat, dem kann ich den Film “Ziemlich beste Freunde” und die Burberry Show aus London nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Defining true love is probably the hardest thing to do, but when it's there, you simply know it. For me, Tiffany has always had the best moments about love captured. This year no other than the Satorlist and Garance Dore accomplished to put together what makes love true in a little video. While scrolling through the Tiffany website I also found this really cute video about how kids describe true love. And who could be more honest than a kid? Well, no matter if you like Valentine's day or not, enjoy these videos and have a LOVEly day!

I love sundays- to sleep until I wake up by myself, having a lovely breakfast with rolls and all sorts of toppings, fresh juice and nothing on my schedule to do for the whole day. After my busy exam period and working I kinda feel like I deserve this haha. I hope you are having a lovely weekend and leave you with this look of the day.
P.S. Don’t worry I changed into the heels just for the pictures. It’s way to cold and slippery for any other shoes than my winter boots right now!

This is just a glimpse of what we can expect from the next Designer Collaboration with H&M, directed by the amazing Sofia Coppola. Marni is known for colorful prints and patterns and I can't wait to see how the pieces look in real life. But first of all this winter needs to stop like right now, please!

Adidas Neo Pre-Opening

Hey there! Have you heard about Adidas new brand Neo yet? Well, I had the chance to check it out exclusively at its first store in Hamburg. I think the goal of creating more fashionable clothes, combined with the sporty adidas touch, worked out really well here. Pieces like neon skinny jeans, college jackets, batik dyed leggings and of course their sneakers are definitely working for a stylish outfit. But go and see yourself! And if you do so, don’t forget to try the social mirror that takes a picture of you and your look and loads it up to twitter or facebook right away! Love how Adidas keeps up with the times- I wish every store would have a mirror like that. Thanks for the great day again !
Na, schon von Adidas neuer Linie “Neo” gehört? Glücklicherweise durfte ich letzte Woche die neue Kollektion im ersten Neo Store in Hamburg exklusiv erkunden. In lockerer Atmosphäre wurden wir mit den Designs vertraut gemacht und konnten bei Snacks und Getränken unsere Lieblingsstücke shoppen. Wer jetzt denkt, Adidas sei nur etwas für Sportliche, der wird mit Neo eines Besseren belehrt. Die Designs sind jung, dynamisch und trendbewusst. Zu meinen Lieblingsstücken zählen Collegejacken, Neon Skinny Jeans und Batik-Leggins. Vielen Dank nochmals für den tollen Tag an das Adidas-Neo-Team!

recipe: breakfast pizza

You want something different for breakfast than rolls, waffles, pancakes, joghurt and cornflakes? Well here it is. Really easy and really yummy! Just follow the steps.
Lust auf etwas Besonderes zum Frühstück?

1. roll out the pizza dough

2. spread it with cream cheese (just a little bit to prevent dryness)

3. sprinkle the dough with graded cheese, crack 3 eggs on it and place some bacon

4. top everything of with fresh herbs, salt and pepper

5. Bake for approx. 20 minutes and serve

It’s exam time so here is just a quick post with my look of the day. Since I am studying all day long, I love to wear something comfy. But I guess you can imagine that I didn’t want to show you my favourite pair of sweatpants haha so I decided to change into my really comfy boyfriend jeans and pair them up with a black tube top, a jeans shirt and my vintage moschino belt. Yes, I do like double denim! Do you?

Ich bin leider mitten in meiner finalen Lernphase, deshalb hier nur ein schneller Outfitpost! Wenn ich den ganzen Tag am Schreibtisch sitze trage ich zwar lieber meine Jogginghose aber das wollte ich euch nicht antun haha. Also habe ich meine super bequeme Boyfriendjeans mal wieder ausgekramt. Dazu ein schwarzes Tubetop und Jeanshemd. Flohmarktfund- Moschinogürtel drum und fertig! recipe: cheese straws

Yeees, I was indeed in cooking/ baking mood again. And after I saw Emily’s homemade cheese straws on cupcakes&cashmere I new I had to try them. And they are really easy! You just need some puff pastry, cheese, egg yolk, herbs (I used fresh chives) and follow these steps:

1. cut the puff pastry and 2. fold two stripes over another

3. spread some of the egg yolk on them

4. top them of with graded cheese and herbs

5. bake them for approx. 20 minutes (200°C)

6. share these yummy treats with your friends!

Ok, well here is one confession I have to make. I am in love not only with my boyfriend, but also with nail polish. Since highschool my roommate and I kept the “tradition” of painting our nails together. So over the years my collection of nail polish grew bigger and bigger. The fact that good nail polish has to be expensive is not true by the way. I do love O.P.I. colors and quality, but if I wanted all the colors I have now I wouldn’t have money left for living. I actually found a brand though I can truely recommend.”p2” has a gorgeous color assortment and the quality is really great. And now the best part: it only costs 2€!

recipe: confetti cakepops

There are times I really feel like baking. Yesterday was one of those days again. Maybe also because I needed to distract myself from studying, but also because I really wanted to try these cakepops that are always looking so cute at Starbucks. But caution! They are super sweet :-) Besides that, just try them yourself!

You need the following ingredients:2 cups flour, 1 cup sugar, 4 Eggs, baking soda, vanilla sugar, 1/2 cup butter

After you mixed all the ingredients, you need to bake that cake for about 20 minutes. After it cooled down, crumble it into small pieces and mix it with frosting. For homemade frosting just mix creamcheese, 100g butter, vanilla sugar and 250g powdered sugar until its creamy.

Form small, lollipop-sized balls and put them in the fridge for a bit. (I did that, because mine were to soft so that the lollipop sticks wouldn’t stay)

Melt some chocolate (I used milkchocolate, but you can also use other kind)

Cover the popsticks with some chocolate first and stick them into the cakeballs. Let them dry for a couple seconds so that they are fix. Dip the hole cakeball into chocolate then and decorate it with some sprinkles. I used sugar confetti.

Happy New Year! Wow, it's already the 3rd of 2012 now and it still feels weired how fast the last year went by- again. A lot of things changed in 2011 for me like moving back to my hometown Hamburg, sharing an apartment with my lovely friend Dorothee and starting over at University with studying Marketing. I also got a really sweet nephew, attended my first two fashionshows and visited Stockholm for the first and definitely not last time. Hopefully this year will be even more fun, but for now I really need to study for my upcoming exams.

today I went to the Holy Shit Shopping event in Hamburg. It's a happening where lots of young designers and hobby-artists sell there self-made things. This is definitely one of my oh so favourite places in Hamburg. Die Wäscherei is a really fancy, cool and simply amazing lifestylehouse in Hamburg. They have everything from furniture, clothing, books and magazines to decoration for every room in your home. It's one of those places I would love to be locked in for a night haha. Too bad I don't have the money to buy everything there, but if I could I would ha! So if you don't want your home to look like a room in the IKEA catalog you should stop by. And psssst. every saturday you can get your picture taken and if your lucky you can win a 100€ gift card! And there is always a great DJ, yummy food in their little cafe and the shop assistants are super duper friendly and dressed kinda crazy. Uhhm I hope I didn't forget to mention something, but I guess you realized by now that I love this place!

Mein absoluter Lieblingsort in Hamburg und überhaupt: Die Wäscherei. Ein absoluter In-Tipp was Einrichtung angeht. recipe: roasted almonds

you love roasted almonds as much as I do during Christmas season? Well, instead of buying them on a Christmas market I tried them at home for the first time! And they actually turned out not bad. Do you want to try as well? Just follow this short recipe and enjoy!

ingredients/ Zutaten

1. 115ml water / Wasser

2. 130g white sugar/ weißer Zucker

3. 1 Tablespoon cinnamon/ EL Zucker

4. 250g almonds/ Mandeln

Step 1: Mix water, sugar and cinnamon and bring it to boil. Add the almonds and stir until the liquid turns into a sticky mixture.

Step 2: Spread the mixture out on a baking tray and let it cool down. 

Step 3: Add a little bit of powdered sugar for decoration.

Step 4: eat aaaaaall of it haha

I went there last week for the first time and even though nothing can top IKEA, especially concerning the prices, Zara Home is definitely worth a visit. Photoshoooooot! These pictures were taken last weekend from my super talented friend Lüka from women-en-vogue. She made these beautiful lace-bunny ears herself, so there was no doubt about the need of a shooting. We went to the Hamburger Dom and chose a fun rollercoaster as our setting and this is the result! P.S. yes, it was freaaaaaking cold haha!

Friday, finally! Well no, not so finally and great when I think about my first exam coming up this semester is already next thursday. But there is actually one thing I like about studying- rewarding oneself afterwards haha. I guess everyone likes that or am I wrong? One thing I would really like to have at the moment are glitter converse. I am normally no glitter-girl at all, but I guess owning one of these pairs would be pretty sweet. Hello there! 

This is what I wore yesterday. The Zara cape/ jacket was definitely love at first sight, since I was looking for something cape-like for a while now. I couldn't find a cape that had long sleeves though, so my arms wouldn't be freezing. So this cosy, whoolen, big hooded jacket is my favourite thing to wear during that weird fall weather right now. A little late, but still. Here is a small impression on the Fashion shows I attended a couple weeks ago.

The big Fashion shows are normally in New York, Paris, Milan and in Germany, Berlin. But Hamburg is such a stylish city as well. So this is why there are the Hamburg Fashion Shows presented in the "ETAGE EINS" Showroom in the Stilwerk. I love the fact the participating designers use fair traded fabrics and also pay attention to fair working conditions. Individuell designs, made in Germany, affordable and eco-friendly! Beauty is Life

Did you know the brand and make-up school "Beauty is Life"? Well, to me it was new and I was really postively surprised when my best friend got her make-up done by them. They had such a huge variety of eyeshadowcolors and lipsticks and explained everything they did in detail, so we could do the look at home sometime again (haha that never works out that great). I hope you like the result as much as I do. Have a great start of the week everone!!

Eine super Erfahrung hatte ich mit der mir vorher unbekannten Kosmetikmarke "Beauty is Life", als meine beste Freundin dort ein mega tolles Make-Up verpasst bekommen hat. Uns wurde auch sehr nett alles erklärt, sodass wir den Look nachkreiern könnten. Leider klappt das ja erfahrungsgemäß nicht immer so gut haha. Habt einen guten Start in die Woche ihr Lieben!!

Yep, I am back to school. Kinda..Well, University sounds better :) I am super busy right now so sorry for the lack of posts. I'll try my best to keep you updated and show you some more hotspots in Hamburg soon as well as some impressions of a fashionshow I will be at on friday. Until then, bon apetit (gotta love Julia Child) with this simple and yummy sandwich.

homemade Pesto: 

1. mix up oliveoil, basil, pine nuts and spices and blend everything creamy

2. use the Pesto instead of butter on your toast and  put anything else on it.

I liked my chicken, cucumber, morzarella- combo a lot

this is one of my favouirte stores to windowshop and dream about. Bleu is located in the Schanzenviertel in Hamburg (Schanzenstraße 41) and is a must to visit when you are in Hamburg. Your birthday is coming up? Tell your boyfriend haha ;) it's really a perfect place for cute presents. Necklaces, bracelets, earrings, bags, scarfs...everything is super pretty, handmade, with lots of details and always an eyecatcher. Some are also one of a kind! I really neeeeed one of those cute bracelets this christmas!

today I share one of my favourite places to eat with you. It's located in the Schanzenviertel in Hamburg. They serve baked potato with anything you want. If you don't like the menu suggestions like the Mexican Potato with Tortilla Chips and Guacamole, you can choose from a huge vierty of salads, meat, sauces, cheese and other kind of veggies and put together your own KUMPIR. And all of that is available for only about 4 Euros! Good, ha? Yeees!

Heute: ein kleiner Tipp für alle Hamburg-Besucher. Für einen üppigen und günstigen Mittagssnack kann ich nur wärmsten 'Kumpir' in der Schanze empfehlen. Eine leckere Ofenkartoffel mit viel, viel Füllung nach Wahl für nur ca.4 Euros! Was will man mehr. Yuuumy!

Hello there!!

a couple days ago I came home and got a note that a package has arrived for me. I didn't order anything or expected a package from someone so I was pretty excited to open the box without knowing what would be inside of it. And tadaaa. I was chosen by GRAZIA and REMINGTON to test their newest "Stylist". Yay! I am super excited for this and so far I am really happy with the straightening result. The special thing about this stylist-iron is that you can curl your hair with it in 3 different curl-sizes! I neeed to try that and will show you the restults asap! Have a great weekend everyone!!

Wer liebt es nicht unerwartet Post zu bekommen? Ich war letzte Woche also ziemlich aufgeregt ein Packet zu öffnen, ohne zu wissen von wem es kommt und was drin sein wird. I have to admit that this is a look made of my favourite items of my closet at the moment. I am practically living in this silver H&M Trend knit jumper. The ripped jeans are from a trip to the US a couple years ago and are still getting comfier every time I wear them (that is quite often haha). The booties are also perfect for every day. I want fall! Right now! I hate that humid, cold, hot, rainy, stormy mixture. I always wear the wrong clothes 'cause of this unpredictable weather. What I would like to wear though are these two pieces from the H&M trend collection that is in stores right now. I love this mustard-like color so much and I think it looks great with that stone-colored jacket. What are you wishing to wear right now?

Dieses wechselhafte Wetter nervt einfach nur noch. Ich ziehe morgens einfach immer das Falsche an. Mittags ist mir dann zu kalt oder zu warm. Ich wünschte wir hätten einen eindeutigen Herbstanfang. Hello monday, hello new layout, hello everyone :)

I sadly am a perfectionist and always want everything to look great. But I am no computer and no photography pro so I kinda have to live with that. I try my best though to improve my blog. I hope you like the few changes so far.

About this post: I guess a lot of you know KIKO Make Up Milano already, but I am still a bit excited, because there finally is a store near where I live :) I love their products, especially because of their nice prices! Their nailpolish only costs 2,50€ and they do have pretty great colors that I didn't own yet. I am currently wearing the khaki one and have to say that the quality is actually good. Looking at prices I was disappointed by the Chanel nailpolish quality in the past. It comes of way too fast in my opinion. I can recommend O.P.I and P2 though! How do you like KIKO and which beauty brands do you prefer?

Ich hoffe euch gefällt das leicht veränerte Layout meiner Seite! Ich bin eigentlich eine totale Perfektionisitin aber leider bin ich in Sachen Computer und auch Fotos kein Profi. Ich gebe aber mein Bestes den Blog immer zu aktualisieren und schön zu halten :)

Nun aber zum Post: Ich habe mir neues Make-Up und Nagellack zugelegt. Und zwar von KIKO. Endlich hat ein Laden in meiner Nähe eröffnet. Die Preise sind nämlich echt kaum zu toppen. Und mit der Qualität bin ich auch zufrieden. Bei Chanel hingegen war ich echt enttäuscht. Der Nagellack fing total schnell an zu blättern. Seitdem bin ich P2 treu :) Der Preis und die Qualität stimmen einfach.

golden fall

Hello Friday, it's almost weekend!

I finally accepted that this summer is different from all others. So I started being excited for fall and all these cosy jumpers, finding the perfect coat, boots and more. I actually enjoy sitting inside, cuddled into a blanket and having a hot tea while looking into the cold outside. I also finnaly got a polyvore account and had fun putting together my first set called "golden fall". Do you like it?

Das letzte bisschen Hoffnung auf Sommer ist nun auch endgültig weg und ich habe angefangen mich auf den Herbst einzustellen. Ich freue mich inzwischen sogar auf Boots, warme Pullis und Mäntel. Außerdem genieße ich es bei einer warmen Tasse Tee auf der Couch zu sitzen, mich in meine Decke einzukuscheln und nach draußen in die Kälte zu schauen. Bei Polyvore habe ich schonmal ein bisschen rumprobiert, was im Herbst so gut aussehen könnte. Ich hoffe es gefällt!

Like this song says (it is stuck in my head for a while now, maybe you feel the same after listening to it) I could totally walk 500 miles in my new hiking-inspired boots from Zara that I bought on yesterdays shopping spree. I am oh so in love with them. Especially with the green color. And they are really comfy, even though they are pretty high (for me at least haha) What do you think about them?

well, well, after a whole lot of planning and baking my sisters wedding finally arrived past weekend. We had tons of fun dancing, eating and talking with family members we didn't see for a long time. uhm yum. I love baking. And as I told you before I am going to make my sister this amazing wedding cake buffet thing and I use every occasion now to practice. Today was my last day at my internship so I brought in some cupcakes. They are super simple to make and taste really good. Not too sweet so you don't feel guilty eating them ;) Uh and what do you think about the plate I bought to present them? I think its adorable. Cheesy but adorable.

Zutaten/ ingredients

1 EL Öl/ oil

175g Mehl/ flour

1 TL Backpulver/ baking powder

1 Ei/ egg

150ml Buttermilch/ buttermilk

1 EL Orangensaft/ orangejuice

after baking them for about 15minutes let them cool down and cut them in half to fill them.

Joghurt/ yoghurt

Beerenmischung (TK)/ berries

Traubenzucker zum Süßen (mein Geheimtipp für alles ;))/ dextrose

there are big NEWS today! Versace is going to be the designer for the upciming collaboration with clothing giant H&M. I am not sure what to think about it so far. I mean, yes, it's another popular brand, but I haven't been a huge fan of their designs yet. I hope that they will prove me wrong though and make me want to get my hands on a great piece. MINT- who isn't in Love with this color yet? Well, I am and this is my first "top 3" post of the week. I always captures some close ups, inspirations and snap shops during a wekk and feel like its nice to share them with you.

I always loved ARIZONA iced tea when I was living in the US. and I always had it here in Germany at the Vapiano, when having dinner with friend. And now this. Its in stores and not overexpensive anymore. And still so pretty to look at. YAY for that. 

This is the newest addition to my closet. A super comfy, huge, knitted jumper from Monki. Even though the yucky weather didn't set me in a great shopping mood, I was pretty pumped when I saw all the bright SALE signs hanging from the stores ceilings. Do you also love this feeling to buy something great on sale more than buying something expensive?

Lost and found. I have to admit that I am really messy (I am so sorry for my roomie) and always loose my stuff, even though our apartement is not that big. Today I figured that it isn't too bad, 'cause this way you can fall in love with things again that you almost forgot about. This is what happened to me and this super cute handmade pocketmirror that I found in a purse that I didn't wear for a long time.

Hey you cooking-buddies out there,

today I have this really nice recipe for you to make a delicious lemonroll. All you need to do is to follow the instruction and enjoy the result :)

P.S. I will post the English instructions as soon as I can!

Zutaten für den Biscuitteig (Ingredients for the dough):

5-6 Eier (eggs)+ 2 EL Wasser (2 tablespoons water)

100g Zucker (sugar)

1 Packung Vanillezucker (vanillasugar)

75g Weizenmehl (wheat flour)

75g Stärkemehl (starchflour)

Anleitung (Instructions):

1. Zunächst das Eigelb und Eiweiß trennen und danach das Eiweiß steif schlagen.

2. Langsam beim Rühren den Zucker einrieseln lassen.

3. anschließend das Eigelb hinzugeben und vorsichtig unterrühren (ACHTUNG: Die Masse muss trotzdem cremig bleiben also möglichst auf niedrigster Stufe rühren oder mit der Hand)

4. Weizenmehl und Stärkemehl vermischen und ebenfalls vorsichtig unterheben.

5. Die cremige/ dickflüssige Masse nun auf ein mit Backpapier ausgelegtes Backblech gleichmäßig verteilen und glattstreichen.

6. Nun bei ca. 190Grad für nur 10 Minuten backen.

7. Ein großes Geschirrhandtuch ausbreiten und mit Zucker bestreuen.

8. Vorsichtig den fertigen noch heißen Teig mit einer schnellen Bewegung auf das Handtuch stürzen. Danach kann das Backpapier vorsichtig abgezogen werden.

9. Der nun noch immer warme Teig muss nun in das Handtuch eingerollt werden. In diesem Zustand soll er abkühlen, damit er die gerollte Form beibehält. In der Zwischenzeit kann auch die Füllung gemacht werden.

Zutaten für die Füllung (Ingredients for the filling):

500ml Sahne (cream)

Saft von 2 Zitronen (lemonjuice) + Schale (lemon peel)

100g Zucker (sugar)

3 TL Gelatine (3 teaspoons gelatin)

3 El Wasser (3 tablespoons water)

Anleitung (Instructions):

1. Die Gelatine mit 3 EL in einen kleinen Topf füllen und ca. 10 Minuten quellen lassen.

2. Die Gelatine kann nun aufgekocht werden, sodass sie flüssig wird.

3. Jetzt kann langsam ein bisschen Zitronensaft dazugegeben werden. 

4. Nach und  nach auch den restlichen Saft und den Zucker dazugeben aber VORSICHTIG, damit die Gelatine noch warm bleibt und alles dickflüssig wird. (wie Gelatine halt so funktioniert :))

5. Der Kühlschrank kann auch mit Kälte nachhelfen, dass alles schön fest und cremig wird.

6. Wenn das so ist, kann der Teig langsam entrollt, bestrichen und wieder eingerollt werden. Von der Creme noch etwas übrig lassen, damit die Rolle auch von außen eingeschmiert werden kann.

Sooo das sieht nach viel aus, geht aber echt schnell :) und keine Angst vor der Rolle! Meine ist auch erst zerbrochen aber mit der Creme habe ich sie wieder geflickt ;)

Hey! 

As  I told you before, my trip to Stockholm was amazing and here I go now  to post another part that was soo nice about the visit. The STYLE. Yes,  for everyone who wasn't able to make it up to Sweden yet, the people  there are indeed soooo stylish! Natural beauty, not too much make-up,  big coats and scarfs, funky tights, women with short hair, leather  satchels, mulberry, friendly, outgoing, open-minded, acne, electro,  monki, weekday, hot guys, ankle boots, flat boots with elastics in the  side looking like the ones for riding a horse, not just blondes...I  guess everyone knows Stockholm Streetstyle and their amazing pictures,  well I tried my best to capture some looks I loved. I hope you like  them!

IT'S WEEKEND!

I hope you are having a good one so far. I do- the weather is perfect, my boyfriend is with me and I went shopping today :) I am wearing some of my favourite pieces in this picture.
